Welcome to the Home of The N.C. Megatones!
You might be wondering—what’s “N.C.” all about? The answer is simple: this project is s straight from the heart of North Carolina, crafted by none other than Bradley Freedom Mason himself. Yep—that’s right. He is the Megatone.

Back in the ’90s, Brad stumbled across the vibrant world of ska music and was hooked for life—the blasting trumpets, the driving guitars, and, most of all, the powerful lyrics lit a spark that never faded. Inspired by his all-time favorite band, The O.C. Supertones, Brad spent years creating music and refining his sound. Finally, he decided it was time to bring that love of ska to life.

And so, The N.C. Megatones were born—a bold, soulful, trumpet-powered project ready to carry the ska torch forward with North Carolina flair.
